Message from the Managing Director

“We, at TCP Group strive to cultivate an environment that attracts academically competent and talented students. It is our goal to be able to enhance and expand learning opportunities through programs that are relevant and responsive to the demands of the municipal environment, the dynamic business world and the fast-paced landscape.

Our faculty competence, ability to transmit and facilitate knowledge through innovative teaching and outcome-based education, challenge our students to think out-of-the-box. Students are able to engage in active learning, harness concepts and principles, translates ideas, make sound decisions and apply them in real-life situations.

This is complemented with the use of innovative instructional facilitation and other resources to enrich teaching and learning. We are proud of our high academic and social standards that foster desire for continuous learning and support for faculty research and creative productivity. We take a unique and innovative approach to teaching that helps students connect with the subject matter they need to master. Through personalized and focused teaching processes, our students develop the tools they need for the ongoing success in their respective fields of study. Our success depends on our attention to the needs of our clients and truly helping them achieve – we don’t succeed unless our clients succeed.

Most of all, we recognize the value of service we give to our students – who are our key responsibility.”

Our Approach

As part of our marketing plan we have analyzed the industry and found that it is a very broad-based industry with various role players competing directly with one another.

Accreditation with the government training bodies is the most important factor splitting all the role players
in two groups.

Our target market includes SMME’s and all private companies and government institutions where fulfilling of customer’s needs, will always be the top priority.

One of the important sales strategies that work for us, is to use our positive feedback from completed training and consulting projects to market our services to existing as well as other potential companies in need of training services.

Other strategic development plans that we have in place is to give priority attention to job creation and social development where we assist those communities which have been disadvantaged by apartheid in every possible way within our fields of expertise.

Furthermore, we increased our branding and marketing programme with involvement in Community Development Programmes.

We have overcome most of the barriers to market entry with the bigger training and consulting companies as our competitors and have a competitive edge over other companies through our track record, lean operating system and 100% BEE, Level 1.

WE TAKE TRAINING TO THE LEARNERS

Our Commitment

The placement of the learners will be strictly monitored by TCP Group to ensure that there is application of the acquired theory in the real-life work situation; and there is structured skills transfer process to equip the learner upon completion.

Each learner will have a portfolio of evidence where all the key lessons, tests and examinations results will be recorded, followed by signatures of facilitators, assessors and workplace supervisors.

It is our belief at TCP Group that skills development training should lead to a full qualification. It is therefore in our plans to apply to the relevant Seta’s for funding so that those learners who want to further their studies can be afforded the opportunity to do so, and that the Client can be reimbursed for some of their expenses.
